Gettry Marcus Stern & Lehrer, CPA, P.C., Holds High Number of Certified Valuation Analysts Within Its Ranks


Woodbury, NY February 20, 2004--Paul Bella, an accountant at the accounting and business-consulting services firm, Gettry Marcus Stern & Lehrer, CPA, PC (GMSL) with offices in Woodbury and Manhattan, New York, is the most recent of four professionals on staff to earn a Certified Valuation Anaylst (CVA) designation. According to GMSL Managing Partner Steven Marcus, this raises the firm's profile as the financial services firm with the highest number of professional employees holding this specialized business valuation certification.

Bella, a resident of Commack, NY, joins GMSL partners Stuart Kertzner, Howard Fine and Mark Warshavsky in earning the designation. A graduate of Queens College with a B.A. in Accounting, Bella joined the Woodbury offices of GMSL in 1998.

GMSL has a large practice in business valuation, litigation support, and forensic accounting, and Bella is particularly active in those areas of the firm's practice. He also manages the accounting functions for clients covering a range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, nonprofit, wholesale and professional corporations.

A member of several professional associations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), Bella spends his spare time in family pursuits with wife Deborah and their two children.
